Portrait: Wedding

I proudly present my very first piece ever where I have had many breakthroughs such as, patience, grace, going with the flow, and allow it evolve day to day instead of minute to minute. I'm a person who was/am afraid to do more details other than sketching level (as in few hours painting job), but with this one, a wedding portrait for my brother-in-law and his now wife, I broke through my fear barrier! I was really, really determined to make it my best because I knew they have browsed my art portfolio before and I wanted to give them a huge new impact for their huge day! Comparing to my artworks before and now, I'd say, I did it! Now, thank to it, I feel like I have moved into a new level of art! It has, surprisingly, been an epic, spiritual journey for me to paint this one. It was really fun!

In this artwork, the main focus is the feeling I get from them and the colors I see with him and her. (Yes, I think in colors and feelings). Look carefully because all colors and shapes mean something... and to provoke a certain feeling.

I'm curious what you think of it and how you feel from it. Thank you very much! Enjoy!

I wanted it to have a sense of spiritual touch to it while have a science fiction theme to it. I do realize that the gate looks like one from star gate, it was not intended to be similar.

Moon Seer - Isis

This piece is called "Moon Seer - Isis." It is a self-portrait of what I see myself as. I wanted to promote a sense of spirituality in that piece. I used oekaki for the lineart and then continued coloring it in photoshop. Comments are very welcome! Enjoy and thanks!
